As I sit on the oouch and look around I see my youngest baby leaning against me sleeping, innocent, sweet, and gentle. You'd never realize that earlier in the day he was hitting his brother when he didn't get his way and is now going up and down the stairs with ease.
Next I see my oldest son, watching Casper and eating a bananna. He's is a bottomless pit when it comes to eating. When he came home today he was carring his new library book (a chapter book) and was telling me, "look mom it's got pictures of jesus in it", he loves the Lord so much and just wants to do what is right.
Finally on the love seat, my middle boy, sleeping but if I go to put him to bed he wakes up and tells me he isn't sleeping and sits down to cry. He is starting his mothering phase, I remember Clay going through this and I remember hating it too. Cregan has decided that he's the boss of the house now and we should just be doing what he says, in fact today he told me as much, he said, "mom, I'm the boss and you are the boss, but daddy is never the boss, right mommy??" What do you say to that?? I just started laughing...
Josh is at school, and the dog is somewhere sleeping, but that's a glimpse into my evening.
