Inniswoods

So on Saturday, Josh decided he wanted to build new front steps, which is fine and dandy, except we have about a million other projects that need to get done before he leaves to go to Kuwait... but anyway, he really wanted to build this and that meant I had to get the kids out of his and my father-in-law's way ALL DAY. Which shouldn't be so hard because I do stay at home all day with them, but there is something different about having your daddy right outside and not being able to "play" with him.

We successfully got through the morning until around 1:00 and then we left for a baptism, and the kids were geniunely good (they had the wiggles but what little kid doesn't). After this I came home and my sister in law Racheal came over and we went to Inniswood Metrogarden. To me, this is like a little secret garden stuck in the middle of a neighborhood. It's great, I love it and right now they have a "big bug" exhibit with all these giant bugs made of wood. The kids love it, especially the spider part which is loving called "The SPIDERMAN!!!". When we got home around 8:00, I though for sure they would be done, but no still working... all that is left to do now though is the side railing and although I originally thought what a silly thing to do with all the things you can work on in the house I now am really happy he did, which is usually the case with him.
