Nothing bigger than your elbow...

Clay had been complaining for a few days that his ear hurt, that something was inside his ear. He has a history of ear infections and when he was complaining that he didn't want to play baseball but rather go to the doctor, I knew something was up. Saturday appointments in doctors office's stink, you wait and wait and wait, and I had all the kiddos with me... after a long wait though, the doctor comes in and looks in his ear, she says something is definetly in their but not to worry it's probably just a tube... The nurse comes in and sprays water into his ear and finally a little piece of something jets out. What you ask?? A pencil tip!!!! That's right, he doesn't remember sticking a pencil in his ear, so appartently pencil tips grow legs and climb into ears now, be on the lookout!

Baseball

The boys are in baseball this season, Clay is in his first time at coach pitch and Cregan is in T-ball. Both are hilarious and goofy, so it shouldn't have surprised me how these pictures turned out.

First I tell the boys, let's get a picture with you in a baseball position, and this is what I got from Clay -

He just looked so serious, so I was trying to get him to at least smile... and this is what I got...

Then there's the ever funny Cregan, he posed nicely on the first photo -

And on the other, I told him to relax and just smile, and guess what my boy does... gets the 70's finger in the air and starts shaking his thing... :)

And finally, I had to get a picture of the 3 boys together, although it's not the best photo of the year, I look at it as the most realistic for my boys, unless ofcourse I could get a photo of the 3 of them wrestling, but until then...

babies

I'm so glad I'm done having babies, every once in a great while I wonder do I really want to be done, is there another little spirit out there waiting to come to my family. But it's usually about that time that I get (what I like to call) a "sign from Heaven". In this case, it happened in the form of baby raccoons.

A friend of Josh's had a raccoon in his attic and Josh and he took it out to the woods, about 2 days later, the friend found out that the raccoon had had babies in the attic, my brother in law, Ryan was going to take care of the babies, it turned out their were 4. They were crying out of hunger, and we feed them that night with bottles, and covered them up with a teddy bear, Rachael had to rub them with wipes to help the poor little things urinate, because apparently that is what the mommy does to help teach them.

1 of the babies died, and the other 3 (I think), are doing fine, but here are some pictures of the cute things, and my "sign from Heaven" worked yet again to word off any enthusiasm to have anymore little ones of my own..!!
