A Day to Remember??

Today I came home from a VERY long day at the zoo, get the kids out of the car, get the mail, go to the front door and unlock it and notice a package on the side of the front door...???

I wonder to myself, now who's sending me stuff (have I ordered something from ebay, amazon, I'm doing a mental rewind, no,no that's not it). I bring the package inside and notice that it's from 1-800-flowers, Flowers?? Why am I getting flowers, I immediately open the tag on the outside of the package, it reads "I love you Mandy".
Hmmmm, could this be from Josh?? Josh never writes stuff like this, he always says something to the effect, "I love you, love me", so now I'm really making those cogs in my brain start to shift, who sent this and why??

I start to open the package, it's a Bonsai tree, beautiful, with this gorgeous white pebbles, and a beautiful stand, but all I can think is, who sent this to me, and why, why, why.... was it my sister, my mil, my cousin, my friend???

My friend comes to pick up her son (I'm babysitting him for the next 2 weeks) and I tell her about it, she assures me, it wasn't from her, hmmm, hmmm, I wonder...

She leaves, and I'm starting dinner, always on my mind, if Josh had sent this, why didn't he mention it, especially since I spoke to him this morning... wait, wait, just a doggone minute, "what is the date", I say out loud, ofcouse I can't find a calender and finally I have to look on the dang computer to know that-- it's my ANNIVERSARY!!

I had forgotten, 13 years of marriage, and I'd forgotten, what a louse, I didn't even mention it to him this morning, I didn't do something as thoughtful as send him a card! What is wrong with me?? But I just want to publicially know I love love love my hubby dear! 13 years later, I'm still happy, merry and bright..
