12 years

Today is my 12th anniversary.

I was sitting thinking about my life and I was thinking about what I was doing 12 years ago. I was thinking of how far ago 12 years seems to me and how much has happened since then.

I was so nervous the night before my wedding day, I had a dinner date with my step brother and his wife and went home and packed some more. The day of the wedding is a blur, I remember feeling ill a few times and thinking to myself that I was going to be a wife and was I ready and all the doubts that go into one's mind when you allow them to. And then I saw Josh and I knew it was alright. That I was with the person I needed to be with, the person that challenged me, intrigued me and loved me and it was a comfort. Needless to say I walked down the aisle and had the 4th most special day of my life, the other 3 only being the birth of my boys.
